Dermot Henry:
Born and reared in Clonmellon, Dermot Henry is a well known local character.
A man of many talents and hats. 
In his own words: I started getting into music & by that I mean the radio when I was about 13 years old.
Back then we would have listened to cassette tapes. I remember listening to music on my Sony Walkman.
I used to love watching the ITV chart show on Saturday mornings, it got me hooked on music & music trivia.
I started doing DJ work in approx 1992ish. My first gig was on Valentine's weekend.
Public speaking is not a problem when you've worked in retail for almost a decade..sales & hire..I did shift work in the mid to late 90s..
I Was lucky enough to work as an extra on a few TV programmes, Vikings, Game of Thrones, The Savage Eye & more. when you work as an extra you have to remember your place...its in the background.
I also enjoy taking part in local drama & variety shows, doing sketches & playing characters with Brownstown Drama & Killallon Drama.
I work for Causey farm on various different types of jobs from actual farming to playing a Victorian Butler for themed parties and scaring & set building for Farmaphobia at Halloween and also for the Causey Christmas Experience.
I do enjoy most types of music but if I had to pick a genre for the desert island question Rock n Roll would feature heavily.
